House in Rodanthe collapses into ocean

Rough surf from a weekend storm made a house collapse about a mile down the beach from where "Nights in Rodanthe" was filmed. The six-bedroom ocean front house, once stood 10 feet above the beach on pilings. It was leaning into the Atlantic Ocean Tuesday. The house that was used in filming the movie's exterior shots was still standing, although the ocean surge was dangerously high.
