A Wilmington steakhouse was transformed into an enchanted kingdom Sunday, as hundreds of little princesses gathered for the 7th Annual Azalea Festival Children's Tea. The girls played dress up, made jewelry, and even went on a photo shoot. Special guests included Azalea belles, the Azalea princess, and our very own Meghan Packer, who emceed the event. Angela McGowan of Wilmington said, “My favorite thing was getting the stuff to put in my bag. And we like the princesses here and we're going to take a picture of them.” Proceeds from the event benefit the Cape Fear Volunteer Center. The organization matches volunteers with various charity events throughout the Cape Fear region.
