ILM reports record number of passengers in September

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) - The economy may be hurting, but it's not apparent at Wilmington International Airport, which recorded the best numbers for passengers during the month of September.

ILM says 37,056 passengers got on an airplane last month while 36,016 people deplaned.

The airport's busiest months are usually in July and August, peak beach-going months.

they must of lowered the airfaire price always the highest overpriced flights that fly to raliegh and then to internationally places cause a international airport cant fly international.
