A lot of reports out lately have highlighted just how tough it can be to find a job. This is proving especially true among recent graduates. Landing an internship can be a good way to get first hand experience in the workplace. The Career Services Center at Cape Fear Community College is always pushing students to see what a professional environment is like. Even though you're working for free, it may be the best way to get a leg up on the competition. CFCC spokesperson David Hardin said, "The on-the-job training while you're still in college is really critical, and it's a good way to get a head start above the other students that are trying to get that same job."
