Indo Jax puts on surf camp for Community Boys and Girls Club of Wilmington

READ MORE: Indo Jax puts on camp for Boys and Girls Club of Wilmington
The children from the Community Boys and Girls Club of Wilmington are getting plenty of good tips from the instructors at Indo Jax Surf School. “With our instructors, our expertise and the equipment that we use it's pretty safe and pretty fool proof as far as learning to surf, and by the last day, the third day, I bet some of them will be paddling into their own waves,” said Indo Jax co-owner Jack Viorel. Indo Jax is holding a three-day surf camp and for these boys and girls, it is their golden opportunity to learn how to hang ten. And for the instructors, it's a volunteer experience they won't soon forget. "I love the sport so much and it means a lot to show these kids what surfing is all about in the ocean and being in the elements and there's nothing else that compares to it," said instructor Liz Hauser. The Indo Jax surf school has a proven record of offering charity surf camps for youth in the Cape Fear region.

i think it is great that someone in this day and age are giving back. it looks as through the kids had a fun time and were glad that people are willing do things for free and not expect some thing in return. i hope to see more from those indo jax people and maybe others will join in with help also
