John Edwards returns to public stage in Indiana

READ MORE:
RALEIGH -- Two-time presidential candidate John Edwards is returning to the public stage for a speech, three months after he acknowledged an affair with a woman hired to produce videos of him in 2006. Edwards is scheduled speak Tuesday night about the election at Indiana University. The school said the public lecture will also include a question-and-answer session. The former North Carolina senator has largely stayed in exile since admitting in August that he had an affair two years ago. He canceled a series of events before the election, saying he didn't want to be a distraction to former rival, Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama. Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, has held several events in the past two months advocating for health care reform. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)

What

did you all expect from him? If former President Clinton can overcome Paula Jones, Monica Lewinski, and a host of others, why can'nt a smooth talking former attorney overcome one bimbo incident? At least he went to Indiana where the stench of his actions might be neutralized by all the cow manure and bull s--t they produce on those farms out there. Perhaps his reception will be warm enough he might decide to change residency. We should feel concern for the feelings of a spouse who stood by him through all of this and who faced her own health challenges as he behaved improperly. We should be concerned for the children who go though life with a Father marked as a philanderer.

Was Johnny talking about...

the immorality of infidelity? What a scumbag!

That explains the smell

Ah, I thought we had another sewer spill but now I know it is comrade johnny slithering out from under his rock.

Mr. Edwards

Yes, I thought I detected a bad odor in the air. Now I know, just another Clinton wannabe called Edwards rearing his ugly head.
