Judge to hear testimony from Cary jogger's friends

READ MORE:
RALEIGH -- Friends and family of slain jogger Nancy Cooper and her husband Bradley Cooper are headed to court to try to resolve a custody arrangement for the couple's two children. Wake District Court Judge Debra Sasser is expected to hear testimony from friends and relatives of both parents on Friday as part of a hearing about the couple's two daughters. Nancy Cooper, who lived in Cary, was found dead last Monday. Authorities have not named any suspects. Last week, Nancy Cooper's parents and sister were granted temporary custody after they alleged in court documents Bradley Cooper was emotionally unstable and poses a threat to the children. But Bradley Cooper has said in court filings that he can provide the best care to his daughters. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
