Jury selection begins in Delgado trial

Jury selection began Monday in the trial for a man accused of murdering a local FBI employee.

Prosecutors say Tyrone Delgado killed Melissa Mooney at her Castle Hayne home in 1999.

Investigators believe Delgado kicked in her door and tried to sexually assault Mooney, before strangling her to death.

Today the judge said the trial is expected to take about four weeks, and opening arguments could begin as early as Friday.
