Local children prepare for kindergarten

WILMINGTON -- The time has come for four-year-olds to say good bye to pre-school and hello to kindergarten. At Howe Pre-K Center, parents received a one-on-one demonstration from their child of what they've learned all year.

Monday's open house taught parents how to transition their kids towards the big move. Each parent was given a sheet of words that their child should know how to spell next school year.
