No low performers in this week's Kitchen Cops report. But there are seven high performers.
This week's top score belongs to a frequent high performer: Temptation's Everyday Gourmet on Market Street in Porters Neck. A perfect 100 plus two points for workers passing a food safety course and a score of 102.
Einstein Bros. Bagels on South College Road in Wilmington lost a half point to clean storage above floor. Add back the two-point bonus for a score of 101.5.
Back up to Market Street, where Catch Modern Seafood scored a perfect 100.
Perfection as well for Saigon Market on Franklin Avenue.
To Carolina Beach. A perfect score for Charlie's Boardwalk Subs.
Up the road to Pizza Shuttle on North Lake Park Boulevard. A half point off because the back door was propped open. A score of 99.5.
And the same score a few blocks away. Zaaki Grill lost a half point for a blender that was not approved for commercial use.

Kitchen Cops 4/1/2010
Were you pulling an April Fool trick when you mentioned Einstein Bagels on South College Road? According to my personal observation and the Einstein Bagel website, Wilmington, NC does not have an Einstein Bagel store. I know I am slow to read news sometimes, but I can not believe no one else caught this before today, 4/6/2010. Sure would like to have an Einstein or Bruegger Bagel shop in Wilmington.
Einstein Bagels is on South College Road
Einstein Bagels is inside of UNCW's Student Fisher Center. :)
