There's only one low performer in this week's kitchen cops report.
Domino's Pizza at 3608-A Oleander Drive in Wilmington lost two points because the inspector noticed flies inside. Two-and-a-half more points off because there were no paper towels in the restroom. A point off for using pie pans to elevate a table, and more points off because the staff needs to do a good bit of cleaning around the restaurant. Ten violations in all and a score of 85 for Domino's on Oleander.
Three New Hanover County eateries made this week's this week's Kitchen Cops high performers list. An inspector says all violations at the Bento Box in the Forum on Military Cutoff "were minor and corrected on the spot." A perfect 100 plus two points for workers passing a food safety course and a total score of 102.
A perfect 100 as well for city club at De Rosset at 23 South 2nd Street in Wilmington.
All workers preparing or handling food at a Taste of Italy on South College Road need hair restraints. It's a half-point violation, and a score of 99.5.
