Kitchen Cops 7/17/08

READ MORE:
There are no low performers in this week's Kitchen Cops report. But five New Hanover County restaurants earned high performer status. Three restaurants earned the highest marks starting at Jersey Mike's at Independence Boulevard and Carolina Beach Road. A perfect 100 plus two points for workers passing a food safety course. Up the road to China Wok at 1929-A Oleander Drive for the same top score of 102. And perfection at Incredible Pizza in the 7100 block of Market Street in Ogden. To Downtown Wilmington where the Pink Pig Café lost a half-point because dry goods need to be in a washable container with a label. The two-point bonus boosts pink pig's score to 101.5. Finally to Nino's Pizza at 2535-A Castle Hayne Road. A half-point off because the hood system needs to be cleaned and a 99.5.

Disturb Customer

I don't have a comment on story but do have suggestions of what restuarants should be on the list for Kitchen Cops: Priate's Table and the Sodex Cafe inside Verzion Wireless building. I have been sick twice from Sodex and know of several others who had stomach issues after eating there. Pirate's Table tables are filthy. All around edges there is old food in grooves. They serve my husband and others freezer burnt fish.
