Lawsuit accuses NC police of stunning unarmed man

READ MORE:
RALEIGH -- A federal lawsuit in North Carolina contends that police in the town of Elon improperly used a stun gun on a man who was unarmed and standing on his porch clad only in his underwear. The News & Observer of Raleigh reported Thursday that the American Civil Liberties Union filed the lawsuit Monday in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. The lawsuit says police shocked John Wayne Paylor last June while they tried to arrest him for using profanity on a public highway and reckless driving. Elon Police Chief LaVell Lovette wouldn't talk about the matter because the lawsuit is pending. The ACLU of North Carolina helped found a project to promote safety in use of Tasers and to establish uniform rules for their use. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)

Dear ACLU

Understand this, you anti-American cockroaches: Tasers allow law enforcemnt officers to subdue a suspect without having to shoot him, without having to beat him bloody, and most importantly, without having to get injured themselves. Instead of doing your best to undermine every traditional value in America why not start an education campaign that tells criminals to obey instructions when being arrested? Why not point out the obvious, that they are never going to win a fist-fight with four officers?
