WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- A case of eating and driving. That's what police are blaming for a single-car crash that damaged the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge Friday night.
Investigators say the teenage girl driving was eating a piece of cake when she bumped the median, over-corrected and hit the concrete guardrail. The impact knocked out a piece of the guardrail.
Police cited the driver for a moving violation.

Ban that cake !
Was it made from scratch or was it from the box mixed? Everyone knows if it was made from scratch you just can't put that down. But if it was a cake made from a box mix you could at least put that down before crossing the bridge. This sounds like a resent story about inhaling something. This case must have been "OOH it's Taste so good!!" The other case I think was "OOH it feel so good!!"
Well..
I guess it's OFFICIAL..you CAN'T have your cake and eat it too.....be on the lookout for the NEXT do nothing law in NC...no eating and driving!
