Local bookstore honoring veterans with two events

READ MORE:
There are many events happening around our region, honoring and remembering those who have died serving our country. Here in Wilmington, a local book store is providing a forum for living veterans to share their experiences. Old Books on Front St. will present two events to honor our veterans for Memorial Day weekend. The first is a WWII living history presentation by Charley Coleman and Bren Woodard on Friday May 23 at 7 p.m. The second is a reading by Christopher Pascal, a recently returned Iraq war veteran, who will be reading from his debut novel, "Manson." That event is on Saturday, May 24 at 3 p.m. "We are hoping to provide a forum for veterans of many ages to share their experiences," said Gwenyfar Rohler, owner of Old Books on Front St. You can learn more by visiting Old Books on Front St.'s website at www.oldbooksonfrontst.com.
