Local golfers talk about Tiger's return

READ MORE: Local golfers talk about Tiger's return

We've waited months for Tiger Woods to make his return to golf, now he's back. Woods teed off earlier this afternoon at the Masters in Augusta, GA. This is the first time Woods has played golf competitively since that infamous night in November that revealed his secret sex life.

We talked with several local golfers to see what they thought of Tiger-gate.

"I think his personal life should be personal," said Veronica McLaurin-Brown, as she played a round at Echo Farms Golf Club. "I think the reason why I'm going to the Masters and everyone is going is 'cause they're concerned with him as a golfer, and I would hope that we can allow him to be a golfer but also allow he and his wife to have the privacy of their lives."

Every golfer we spoke with said the same thing: people should be worried about Tiger's golf game and not his personal life.

tiger more than disappointing

"I think the reason why I'm going to the Masters and everyone is going is 'cause they're concerned with him as a golfer..." said Veronica McLaurin-Brown, as she played a round at Echo Farms Golf Club.

The reason Im not going is because times are hard, there are people suffering, hungry, destitute, children with disabilities whose help programs have been cut, friends of mine without jobs and that there is no way in heck I will show the least little bit of support to a man whose life is a poor example to those wondering what path to take as they walk through life. The path of doing the right thing, or the path of selfish pleasure at the expense of others.

Wow. What a hard-hitting,

Wow. What a hard-hitting, provocative news story!

no, not one

I do not think one person out there has one molecule in their body that actually gives a rat's behind what local "golfers" think of Tiger's return to golf.

People should, however, be very concerned with these buffoons that hold political offices and are fundamentally screwing America as we know it.

Response to R U SRS?

Well said. Some priorities are a little twisted.
