Man in custody after alleged bank robbery

A man is in custody Tuesday night after allegedly robbing a bank in Shallotte. It happened just after 9:00 Tuesday morning at the Shallotte BB&T. Shallotte police said he made a quick getaway but was nabbed a short time later. We are still awaiting further details.

Wonder how dumb he feel that he has ruined his life, because right after he robbed the bank he got caught. What goes through peoples minds to do stupid stuff like this? Is it cause he will get a free place to stay or just stupid?
