TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) -- Police have made another arrest involving Sen. R.C. Soles and one of his legal clients.

Sunday, the 75-year-old senator got into a confrontation with 24-year-old B.J. Wright in the parking lot of the Tabor City Police Department. Soles told police wright had been following him and calling his cell phone, so Soles pulled into the parking lot, where officers responded.

Police say they found cocaine and an open container of beer in Wright's possession, and arrested him.

Wright was with Kyle Blackburn at the senator's home in August when Soles shot Blackburn.

Can you say I killed the goose that laid golden eggs?

We wanna see a photo of Frog Strickland. He's a cutie and a sweetie.

What's he been up to? Still in jail? I hope not. Poor thing.

Yes Frog is still in jail, family and friends are in hope that he will come home soon they love him and miss him very much. His sister is in hope that he will be out before her little boy is born. I be glad to see if his sister can get you a picture.

Why is this kid not still in jail from his last encounter, are these not felonys back to back,I know people who have done far far less and suffered greatly, somthing needs to be done not just in this instance but entirly.

tought to have to fend for yourself. I guess, when all else fails and Senator Soles closes his checkbook, there's always incarceration as a way to get off the street and get a couple of square meals.

But this guy is not too bright. Beer and cociane in his possession on the Police Department parking lot.

No doubt some of the locals, who spew forth innuendo, will have something to say.

But wait, Senator Soles is not running for re-election.

Things may get tight in the county when their effective Senator is replaced after the November election.

Remember, he who laughs last laughs best.
