Men use drive-thru for robbery

WILMINGTON -- Wilmington Police are searching for the men who robbed a fast food restaurant over the weekend using the drive-thru window. It happened just before 2:30 Sunday morning at the McDonald's in the 800 block of South College Road.

Witnesses say two white men in a silver Jeep Liberty cut through the drive-thru line. When they got to the window, the driver pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money. Once the cashier handed it over, they drove off.

If you have any information call Wilmington Police at (910) 343-3600.

Only in Wilmington! Never such a thing here in Raleigh

simply close and lock the drive-up window, lock the doors, and call 911.

Something smells with this story...like an inside job.

If they lock the windows where the robbers can't get to them, the robbers will either Tweet/Twitter/Text (The 3 "T's") or Face Book an email to them demanding the money and still get away with the dough!

but we want to cut $1 Million out of the New Hanover Sherrif's Department budget...makes sense to me?!??!?!?

wow no comments.........

You get the first one.
