Why would you ask ANY jewler about an investment?

Would you ask your grocer about investing in General Mills or Tyson? There is a distinct difference between buying the boat anchor a trinket, and investing in precious metals. Do your research carefully. Precious metals (or any other commondity) is a golden opportunity to make a bundle OR lose your shirt.

LOL Alan Perry

A word of advice.......just because someone sells cars doesn't mean he knows everything about cars. Know what I mean? $$$$$$

First of all you contacted the wrong jeweler. As a disgruntled customer of Perry's I would strongly suggest that you check with several other local jewelers. I was treated very poorly by Alan and since then have spoken with other customers who have literally been given less than other jewelers would have given for the same amount of gold. This guy is so big on his hype for his store and neglects his customer. Carnival pitch is ok to draw customers, but do try to at least give reputable service. You won't see me when I get there!!!!

I agree

I've heard a lot of negative things from different people about the way he has treated people. But contacting Alan Perry was a given seeing as a lot of his advertising budget is spent with you-know-who. His commercials rival those used car commercials from the 1980's.
