Miss USA attends Hammerheads game, Pittsburgh prevails

Things didn’t go as planned Saturday night at Legion Stadium. The Hammerheads lost 3-1 and Miss USA had a bad allergy infection, which is not conducive to singing the National Anthem. Miss USA Kristen Dalton did a lot of autograph signing and a lot of waving to the crowd; it was the first Hammerheads ever for Kristen Dalton, and she seemed to have a good time on the field at Legion Stadium. Pittsburgh opened up a 2-0 lead at halftime and while Hammherhead Tyler Noviello did score in the second half, it was too little too late for Wilmington as Pittsburgh prevailed 3-1. The Hammerheads drop to 3-2-2 on the season, as they lost their second game in a row.
