This Is the RIGHT way to spend tax payers $$ !

This is the kind of work police need to be doing getting these types of drugs off the streets. That weed bust the other day that involved helicopters and all that mess what stupid and such a waste of our tax money.....THIS is what they need to be looking for!

Have to ask one question

What do you think the nationality of the end consumers is? Drugs follow the laws of supply and demand, just like any other product. They are simply part of a large network providing a supply for an unquenchable demand. If AMERICANS weren't obsessed with and addicted to drugs, these guys would be employed elsewhere. So you have to wonder which is worse - illegal immigration or a nation of hedonistic, lazy slugs who are too good to mow their own lawn but shove a couple of hundred bucks worth of crap up their nose every weekend.....because when you run the numbers, the costs of crime, injuries, disease and lost productivity due to America's drug use far exceed the cost of illegal immigration. "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

Assumptions all around

The assumptions that are made appear to be plenty... "Illegal alien," "AMERICANS...," "worse...," and posting quotes that support your position. We can all make assumptions and post something that supports our position, but I think we can do better. My point is simply that not all "Americans" (realize that includes about 90% of the landmass and people in the hemisphere?) are lazy or use drugs. Because there is a demand (e.g., drugs, prostitute, etc.) does not make the offense of providing the item (e.g., drugs, prostitution, etc.) legal or acceptable. Does it? It certainly is still illegal. Certainly, I would hope that the police have evidence regarding who purchased the drugs if they did observed sales... Unequal enforcement may be an issue, however.

I agree with your figure....

...that 90% of the public isn't using illegal drugs. I believe you're well off the mark regarding the percentage of lazy slugs, however. Just take a look at who is mowing the lawns all over this town, and who won the elections this past November. Between people too lazy to mow their own lawn and people too lazy to take responsibility for their own life and manage it effectively, we have both ends of the economic spectrum doing all they can to advance the cause of extreme sloth. In a way, that has been the nature of the failure in our immigration policy for years. Everyone TALKS about fixing the immigration problem, but no one wants to give up the cheap labor they provide. (Hector is an evil man if he is running drugs, but an okay savior (wink, wink) if he can get the lawn looking great for Saturday's barbecue.) I digress.....but don't misunderstand MY point. I'm no fan of illegal immigration, but drug dealers, regardless of immigration status, exist simply because WE (collectively) keep demanding their product. Those people who do abuse drugs cost us far more every year than illegal immigration. Ask me if I'd rather live next door to an illegal immigrant or a druggie and I'd have to flip a coin. Thankfully I carry a sidearm every day and have a very effective alarm system, so I am ready for either eventuality.

One is quick to comment when

One is quick to comment when people are not american citizens , but answer this: Where do we send the the drug dealers that are american cirizens?

Unbelievable

Are these two men even citizens? If not they should be deported. They want to come to our country to work, and they are hustling drugs on the streets. Ridiculous.

MY COMMENT ON THIS IS WHAT

MY COMMENT ON THIS IS WHAT YOU READ IS NEVER THE FULL STORY!!! IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL FOR THE POLICE TO SET UP TRAPS OR REVERSE STINGS AS THEY CALL THEM AND TRAP PEOPLE, MOSTLY ILLEGAL ALIENS. THESE ARE HARD WORKING PEOPLE WHO MAKE MISTAKES TOO. CHECK RECORDS MR. MEDINA HAD NO RECORD, WORKED HARD AND HAD A FAMILY. TIME ARE HARD AND A MAN IS CALLING YOU TELLING YOU HE CAN HELP YOU MAKE FAST MONEY, AT FIRST YOU SAY NO, HE CONTINUES TO CALL YOU TILL HE TALKS YOU INTO HELPING. DOESN'T SEEM LIKE HE WAS OUT TO GET RICH HE WAS TRYING TO SUPPORT HIS FAMILY UNLIKE THE MILLIONS WHO ARE ON AFDC, FOOD STAMPS, WELLFARE ARE DON'T DESERVE IT.

but its the u.s. citizens

but its the u.s. citizens who give them business. you should think twice about what you say.

Why is it that anytime anyone has a...

Why is it that anytime anyone has a non anglo name, they are an illegal alien. Please post your last name when using the "illegal alien" card, so we can all analyze whether your post is worthy of reading... I mean, after all your name sounds foreign to me... "citizen" The origin of the word Citizen was originally used to describe a person from the City State of Rome, and later made the current word it is today, by the French. So which is it? Are you a Roman, a Frenchman, or simply disappointed? (meaning without appointment or the act of failing to meet expectations) You have failed to meet my expectations as a citizen, so I'll let you off... for now.

Good point.

Your name sounds foreign. The term cracker was first used in Middle English and the Elizabethan era. It referred to anyone considered to be a braggart. You have failed to meet my expectations of an intelligent, non-hypocritical person, so I'll let YOU off...for now.
