HAYWOOD COUNTY -- A notorious mountain moonshiner is in trouble with the law again after investigators found nearly 800 gallons of hooch.

Officers raided a facility at a self-storage unit Monday in Haywood County. They say Popcorn Sutton, as he is known, has rented it since February of 2006.

Haywood County investigators found 796 gallons of moonshine and one gallon of cherries at the facility.

The moonshine they found is worth more than $22,000.

Sutton is also in trouble in Tennessee after federal agents seized three stills and more than 850 gallons of moonshine.
