NC congressman to host alternative energy summit

WILMINGTON -- A North Carolina congressman is hosting a summit focusing on alternative energy and how southeastern counties can benefit. Rep. Mike McIntyre said finding "cleaner, greener, American-made alternative energy sources" is vital to national and economic security. The summit Monday will feature three panels examining ocean resources, biofuels and renewable electricity.
