NC high school athlete dies during practice

WILSON -- Authorities say a freshman high school athlete died at a North Carolina school, collapsing after a water break during basketball practice. The Wilson Daily Times reported Tuesday that Anthony Dontra Eatmon died Monday at Hunt High School in Wilson. He was a member of the school's junior varsity football and basketball teams, as well as the school chorus. School Principal Joe Davis said Eatmon was ready to return to practice after warmup drills when he collapsed. Davis said there was no indication anything was wrong before Eatmon collapsed.
