NC man charged with murder in wife's death

WAXHAW, N.C. -- A Waxhaw man has been charged with murder after authorities say he confessed to killing his wife then driving 120 miles and dumping her body over a bridge in South Carolina.

Investigators told WSOC-TV that Danny Edwards admitted he killed his wife, Logan Edwards, during an argument on Halloween, then loaded her body in a car and drove to Orangeburg County, S.C., where he dumped her over a bridge.

Authorities say Danny Edwards reported his wife missing a few days later.

Police say the couple had recently married.
