NC mother pleads guilty in 5-year-old son's death

READ MORE:
CONCORD, N.C. -- A North Carolina woman has pleaded guilty to killing her 5-year-old son earlier this year. WCNC-TV reported that Robin Lee of Cabarrus County pleaded guilty in Concord on Thursday to second degree murder, felony child abuse and delivering drugs to a child. She was sentenced to between 25 years and 32 years in prison. Police say Lee tried to kill her two children and herself with prescription drugs. Phillip Lee was found dead on Sept. 1. Investigators say he died from an overdose of methadone. His 13-year-old brother, Alex Martinez, called 911 after finding his brother dead and his mother unresponsive. Martinez says his mother had awakened him earlier and told him to take three pills for nausea. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)

Death of 5 yr Old

25 to 32 years in Prison is unacceptable. NC needs the Death Pentaly for any one convicted of kiling children irregardless of whose child it is. I can only hope she is never released.
