NC Salvation Army collector charged with stealing

READ MORE:
ASHEBORO, N.C. -- Authorities say a Salvation Army bell ringer in North Carolina stole the kettle he was using to collect money, saying he needed the money to pay court fees. Multiple media outlets report that authorities say Francis Murray took the kettle from a Walgreens drugstore in Asheboro Dec. 4. Asheboro Salvation Army Captain Curtis Kratz says he called police when the money from Murray's collections turned up missing. He says the recovering addict has apologized and says he will return the $63, along with his apron and bell. Murray has been charged with larceny by employee. He has not turned himself in to police. Salvation

Ah come on, the guy needed money, salvation comes in many ways.

He needed the money to pay

He needed the money to pay court fees. Maybe if he was a single father, or a vetern in need of food or health.. but he's not. He's paying court fees. So instead of taking responsibility of his actions, he stole money being raised for a good cause. What a terrible thing. It just shows that politicians aren't the only ones..

salvation

Do you and your cohorts only comment during the week while at work ? I never see any of you on here on the weekend. Just curious if your boss knows or if maybe you are the boss. Either way, I agree with the rest of the folks, you are a Troll. You will one day know the Truth.

terry

Great sense of humor you have there. WWAY doesn't post comments on the weekends, if you where on here much you would know that.... I do not work outside the home. I do not need the money. You think that comment was trolling? :rolling eyes:

From the woodwork

A whole group of "we don't like the message" folks have arrived here. Since they don't like it they attack the messenger. Typical liberal response, don't argue facts, call names.

the new group

Best part is they think we care. "The liberal believes, in the face of the most incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, that we could all live in peace and harmony if only it weren't for those evil hate-mongers who raise even mild questions about our ability to live together in peace and harmony."

Obviously, you do care or

Obviously, you do care or your would not waste your time or WWAY's time responding to them.

nope

Only here to tick you all off remember? Gee how soon we forget.

Making Assumptions

Yet again someone "knows" what liberals "think." Sigh... Liberals, as a group - are better educated, more tolerant, more urbane (worldly), and more rational. As for what they "think" - well, that varies from individual to individual. And as for living together in "peace and harmony" - heck, it doesn't take a genius to know that'll never happen as long as we have religion.

Re: Making assumptions

My experience is quite different. At work, all of us in the office are republican and are college educated earning more money and complaining less. As compared to our labor force who are mostly democrats and have high school diplomas or drop outs. They all are constantly whining about how hard life is but do not make an effort to further their education. One even lives at home with his parents and brags about not paying any bills or lifting a finger to help out around the house. Yet, he will cry how difficult it is to earn more money. This is what I see of "liberals" daily. Not a pretty sight. In fact...pathetic.

Oh yeah! Liberals are all those....

....so then tell me....why do the simple words of the Constitution and basic Economics baffle you so?

It is astounding the way you

It is astounding the way you change your political philosophy to suit your current argument. We are now supposed to believe you are a conservative. Not so. Perhaps your new found conservative friends on here missed all of your posts extolling the gay lifestyle and their right to marry? I don't think anyone on here believes any of you care about anything. The total lack of empathy for anyone or anything shines brightly through in every asinine piece of drivel you write. Except, of course, when you are espousing your liberal support of and campaigning for the rights of gays to marry.

Sigh

We live in an age where, if you dont have a legitimate argument, you just call someone a 'liberal' and somehow that makes up for your lack of reasoning. As soon as I hear the 'L' word thrown out I dont bother listening or reading any further because I know that person is an idiot.

Yep

Yes, liberals are idiots.

astounding

I never said I was conservative. Being for homosexual (human) rights does not a liberal make (homophobic's like you don't get that). I am also atheist, pro-choice, pro-death penalty, anti-welfare , anti-drug, anti-alcohol and pro-education (10+ years volunteering in public schools)so far. May have helped one of your kids learn to read while mine was reading at a 12th grade level in 4th grade. The only thing I have no empathy for are idiots that fail to become productive members of society when they have all the resources available to them. Also people like you that slap the liberal label on anyone that likes gays. So, ignorant really.
