NC waterpark resort hiring for 500 jobs in Concord

CONCORD -- A new waterpark resort in Concord is searching for employees to fill more than 500 jobs. Great Wolf Lodge holds a job fair Thursday through Saturday at Lowe's Motor Speedway. It offers an 80,000-square-foot indoor water park and more than 400 hotel rooms. Available jobs are in all departments, and the company needs people in hourly, salaried and supervisory positions. The jobs include hospitality positions like front desk, housekeeping, and spa services. There are also jobs for retail clerks, maintenance workers, and food and beverage servers. The resort off Interstate 85 opens at the end of March. The job fair at the speedway will be noon-8 p.m. on Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
