NC woman accused of taking $147,000 from company

GREENSBORO -- A North Carolina woman has been arrested and accused of taking more than $147,000 from the corporate headquarters of The Fresh Market. The News & Record of Greensboro reported that 36-year-old Amanda Hanes Womble of Winston-Salem was arrested Wednesday. She's charged with one count of embezzlement of more than $100,000. Womble worked as the supervisor for the supermarket company's accounts payable department. Warrants state that the money was taken between June 2007 and March 2009. Stop blaming Obama for the millions of jobs lost; Heaven forbid we place some blame for the previous President. The spend-and-spend-some-more policies and lax governmental oversight of the previous administration obviously had minimal impact on the current economic situation (sarcasm intended).

Have you seen the news? I think Obama is the spender!!! The conservatives (Republican Party) have a lot of issues they need to work, but overspending and over-governing is NOT one of them. They believe in accountability and self-sufficiency...not tx and spend and let the Federal Government handle all the ills of the country. Obamunism is running wild!!!!

She was "the supervisor for the supermarket company's accounts payable department." Rather than closing the loophole she found, (what she was probably paid a salary to do), she choose to exploit the area of dubious control for personal gain. (She admitted guilt...not sure if a water board was involved!). Mandy Hanes Womble obviously lacks integrity, honesty, etc. and many other traits of an upstanding human being. How many of the Fresh Markets excellent employees and Mandy's coworkers have been/will be affected by her criminal activity?
