CHARLOTTE -- A North Carolina woman accused of appearing in a gross video at a Domino's Pizza kitchen earlier this year says she's been asked to leave college.
The Charlotte Observer reported that Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro told 31-year-old Kristy Hammonds of Taylorsville on Tuesday that she cannot attend classes because she is a registered sex offender.
She told WCNC-TV she had a relationship several years ago with a girl who said she was 19 but actually was 14.
Hammonds and 32-year-old Michael Anthony Setzer of Conover are accused of being the employees who filmed themselves breaking sanitation laws while making a pizza. She is to appear in court
Tuesday.
School officials said they asked Hammonds to leave because of a law that prohibits registered sex offenders from schools.
