New business takes daycare to the next level

At first glance, everything at Ms. Mary's Little Treasure Angels looks similar to other daycare centers in Wilmington, but there is a difference. Ms. Mary's also offers night care. They are not the only in the Port City to have it, but they are the newest one to offer it. In fact, that is why Alicia Ambrose chose Ms. Mary's. "It is specifically because of the hours. I work until 7pm and a lot of the facilities do not stay open until then." Ms. Mary's opens at 5:00 a.m. and closes at midnight. That is appealing to second shift parents. Ms. Mary’s also offers weekend care. "We have grown very, very big just in a few months," said Mary Alston. "I've had some that ask for overnight care, but there hasn't been a sufficient demand for it.” Mary Alston is a good cook. On Wednesday night she served up a rice dish for the children, in fact dinner time is probably their favorite part of the night. Before they wind down for the evening, the children finish off the day with a song. "We try to take care of our kids to the best of our ability. One of our main goals is to treat everyone like you'd like to be treated and we show a lot of love," said Alston. Ms. Mary's Little Treasured Angels is on Southern Boulevard across from Legion Stadium in Wilmington.

How wonderful that children are getting the love & attention their hard-working parents would be giving them, if they could! It truly takes a village, and lucky we are that Ms. Mary is part of ours!
It's great to hear that Ms. Mary's Little Treasure Angels is filling in a blank in the daycare/childcare market. With the slump of the economy many parents are having to take on more responsibilities and hours to hold onto their jobs. This childcare center is going the extra mile to help these parents and maintain happiness with the kids. Great job Ms. Mary!
They been doing in Houston for years its even center here open 24 hours.
