Insurance agent Don Bullard was at his office Thursday after being arrested on drug charges. New details have emerged from a search warrant executed by Wilmington police officers.
Don Bullard was once one of State Farm's top agents before leaving the company about a year ago for what he called "philosophical reasons." Now he is charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver ecstasy, along with destroying evidence.
Last December, police arrested Ashley Ricks and Kathryn Williams for trafficking ecstasy, marijuana and possession of firearms. After the arrest, both women told officers they had been selling ecstasy to Bullard who they said was distributing it to a number of young females.
Tuesday night, WPD officers executed a search warrant at Bullard’s home. Among other things, the search revealed one small blue pill, 2 pink pills, and 2 guns with ammunition.
The search warrant also details Bullard's relationship with Brittany Faircloth. Faircloth said Bullard often had cocaine and ecstasy at his house.
On one occasion, she said Bullard gave her a pill that caused her to black out. When she regained consciousness she was naked with no recollection of what had happened.
Faircloth also said she saw about 50 women who would come to Bullard’s home for drugs. Thursday, Bullard was arrested for drug possession with intent to sell and attempting to destroy evidence.
Wednesday, Bullard was arrested for drug possession with intent to sell and attempting to destroy evidence. Bullard posted $15,000 bond, and was back at work Thursday. At the advice of his lawyer Dennis Sullivan, Bullard declined to comment on camera.
Bullard's clients do not have to worry about their insurance. All agreements are between the individual and the insurance company, so there is no need to worry. However, if Bullard is found guilty of the charges, he could lose his North Carolina insurance license.

charges were DROPPED
All charges were DROPPED. Why would they wipe Mr. Bullard's record clean if he were guilty of anything. This was a case of Guilty by association.
And it's said that this whole "story" has caused so much unecessary negative publicity.
Personally, I think that WWAY, WETC, and the Star News deserves to Blast the fact that the charges were DROPPED, like they did when they thought they had their "big story".
