New features at Hugh MacRae park

WILMINGTON -- The oldest park in New Hanover County has some new features for you to enjoy.

Friday the county held a ribbon cutting for a new walking trail and gazebo at Hugh MacRae Park.

The new $47,000 gazebo marks the end of hurricane repairs dating back to Bertha and Fran in the '90s.

The new walking trail wraps around the entire park.

Replacing the bridge near the gazebo is the next beautification project to schedule at Hugh MacRae Park.
