New green business opens in Wilmington

The city of Wilmington is getting greener today. Mayor Bill Saffo will cut the ribbon for the new solar powered roof top power plant. Advanced Green Technologies generates its own power from the sun. The company said each year its building will eliminate about 20 tons of carbon emissions. It provides renewable energy products for both commercial and private use. The public is invited to take the solar tour to see how the plant works. The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. at 311 Judges Road, in Suite 1G.
