A new mobile crisis unit is helping emergency responders keep our area safe.

It is managed by Evergreen Behavioral Management.

The group of mental health service providers is on call 24-7. They can even talk to patients via satellite if necessary.

They started three months ago and have been very busy.

Evergreen regional director Kevin Deloach said, "With the overabundance of calls in the hospitalization, things of that nature, the mobile crisis job is actually to reduce the influx of consumers, of patients in the ER, or the hospitals, or the state psychiatric hospitals as well."

Evergreen staff says anyone who needs help should call 1-866-283-2794.

Caution: Evergreen looks good on TV

But is it imploding on the inside?....

Response??

It's nice they advertise since they do not help when you call. They pass you on to other people if you got no money or insurance. They just in it for the money.

Mental Health

Mentalhelp I am sure you realize the company has staff to pay along with the overhead involved in operating a business. The LME in Wilmington has not allocated any of its IPRS funding for uninsured to fund this service. Im sure this company would be glad to be of service to these populations under the Southeastern Center LME if it could do so without going broke.
