WILMINGTON -- A new task force is tackling a problem issue that has been plaguing locals. The focus is providing adequate parking in downtown Wilmington.

With increased traffic and development in the area finding a solution to congestion problems is a top priority.

This is part of the city's Vision 20-20 plan, which is geared toward the future of downtown.

The task force will have a year to develop a plan.

ASAP.

Fix. Roads.

Volunteers

I hope the task force is all volunteer because I just finished the years worth of work for them... the City needs to build a really big, affordable parking deck/security and the first hour free and a merchant stamp for 3 hours free when you visit a businesses downtown. NP

What are they going to do?

What are they going to do? Build ANOTHER parking deck that people won't want to use?
