Shuttle services are offered for the Azalea Festival Parade. Wave Transit is running their shuttle service from the Wells Fargo Bank at Independence Mall to the corner of 2nd and Dock Streets downtown. Service begins at 7 a.m. and runs until the parade begins. Full story...

The North Third Street Bridge in downtown Wilmington is in desperate need of repairs. The bridge was built in 1920 and will take a year to replace, but replacing the bridge would have a major impact on of the biggest events in the Port City. Full story...
