WWAY 5th Quarter co-host and Wilmington resident Trot Nixon has been named to the All Fenway Park Team. Essentially this honor puts the former New Hanover Wildcat on the top 40 list for players who suited up for the Boston Red Sox in the last century.

The 16th Annual BB&T Jamboree is in in the books. Somehow the ten football squads avoided the foul weather that swarmed around Legion Stadium prior to the event... Wilmington Post 10 emerged a winner on Friday night on the baseball diamond. Post 10 now has two wins in a row in the SE Regional American Legion championship.
