With its soaring, 50-foot cathedral ceilings, original brick and plaster walls and stained glass windows, it is an impressive venue. The Brooklyn Arts Center started as a church in 1888 and is now home to weddings, concerts and much more.

An overnight shooting in downtown Wilmington has police looking for answers. Shots rang out at an event at the Brooklyn Arts Center around 1 a.m. Despite the large crowd no one was hit.

Wilmington is home to many historic buildings and churches, but only one also morphs into a skate park. The Brooklyn Arts Center is 123 years old and was brought back to life earlier this year. It seems the space has something for everyone, including skateboarders.
