UNCW claims 13th straight CAA swimming title

By a whisker the UNCW men's swimming team captured the CAA title on Saturday night. It's the 13th consecutive CAA title for Dave Allen's squad. In a winner take all event UNC Wilmington's 400 yard freestyle relay team won the last event of the night to secure the CAA title. On a related note former Laney swimmer Stephen Coetzer helped lead NC State to a second place finish at the ACC Swimming Championship with a school record performance. Full story...

videoThe Atlantic Coast Conference's plan to expand, revealed in 2010 and modified along the way, has come to fruition. Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Notre Dame became members of the ACC on Monday, giving the conference 15 members. The CAA also welcomed a new member on Monday.
