WWAY's Monday night sports - July 15; Devoted Wilmington Sharks employee dies at ballpark

videoMonday's baseball game at Buck Hardee Field was called off due to the death of Wilmington Sharks employee Kevin Cerasuolo. The death is under investigation, but it appears to be from natural causes. UNCW men's basketball coach Buzz Peterson is counting on recent transfer Addison Spruill to play a big part on the court for the Seahawks this season. Spruill recently fractured his right foot though. He'll be out at least 4-6 weeks. Plus more!

Top prep prospect Andrew Wiggins to attend Kansas

Top basketball prospect Andrew Wiggins is headed to Kansas. Wiggins signed a letter-of-intent with the Jayhawks at a private ceremony Tuesday afternoon in Huntington, WV. He previously narrowed his choices to Kentucky, North Carolina and Florida State.

Cardinals claim NCAA basketball title

It was a tremendous college basketball game between two outstanding teams at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. It resembled a classic heavyweight championship boxing match. In the end the Louisville Cardinals prevailed over the Michigan Wolverines.
