After more than 60 years, about 400 Marines were honored with the Congressional Gold Medal in Washington, DC, and a handful of those are from right here in the Port City.

A handful of retired Marines from Wilmington will be honored in Washington, DC, tomorrow with the Congressional Gold Medal.
The men being recognized by President Obama are the first ever African-American Marines.
