Good news for anyone who watches WWAY on DIRECTV. Today WWAY's parent company, Morris Network, and DIRECTV agreed on a deal that means DIRECTV customers in southeastern North Carolina will continue to be able to watch WWAY.

North Carolina, along with 48 other states and the District of Columbia, has won an agreement to get DIRECTV to reform its deceptive advertising and other misleading business practices, Attorney General Roy Cooper announced today.

WWAY has an update on one former Direct TV customer's battle. John Jacovino canceled his Direct TV service after he said the company failed to provide him with the high definition services they promised.
