Happening this week local business "Your Computer Friends" is having an electronics recycling event. They are accepting printers, phones, cell phones, batteries, cables, copiers, fax machines, and desktop and laptop computers.

Although tomorrow is officially Earth Day, concerned students, faculty and staff teamed up to prove that every day is Earth Day by cleaning up trash around Cape Fear Community College's North Campus and Blue Clay Road.

Kevin Murphy has been picking up trash in the Cape Fear area for years. He's a fifth grade teacher at St. Mary's and the director of the non-profit organization, Ocean Cure. Three years ago, he decided to start the "90 Days to Earth Day" challenge.
