One Wilmington elementary school student proved heroes come in all shapes, sizes and ages. 8-year-old Seth Blizzard called 911 and attempted to use the Heimlich maneuver when his grandmother was choking. The Eaton elementary student partially dislodged the object before EMS arrived. Full story...

Eaton Elementary back open tomorrow on two-hour delay

Eaton Elementary will reopen tomorrow after water damage forced it to close today. Students will be on a two-hour delay, according to New Hanover County Schools. Teachers and staff should report at normal times. Full story...
