An equal-parts exhausted and elated Shari Ezzell was in her old establishment Monday afternoon, lettering freshly reinstalled on the exterior wall, interviewing to fill two spots. With the core of her staff still intact, she said she was able to reach an agreement with her landlord, and is planning on reopening the beloved diner, located at 2115 Carolina Beach Road, this Friday at 5 a.m. Full story...
