Despite removing sign, Flip's owner still feuding with city

video Less than a week after Flip's Bar-B-Que took down its half-century-old sign to comply with a city ordinance, the small business is facing another issue with the city. Church says a city code enforcement officer told him he needed clearance to remove the sign. Church says he's confused.

City: Flip's Bar-B-Que sign must go

Although it's been a staple in town for 50 years, the City of Wilmington says the sign outside Flip's Bar-B-Q on Oleander Drive must come down. After a few deadline extensions, the city has given owner Bob Church until Monday to take the 65 square foot sign down.
