The Fred Lynch Invitational tips off on Monday at six different locations in New Hanover County. 50 high school basketball teams will be competing in the three day event. The Ashley boys basketball team won't be competing in the event as the Screaming Eagles are in the middle of a coaching change. On Monday the Fred Lynch Invitational Basketball Tournament tipped off at two locations in New Hanover County. On Monday Wilmington's Cari Blalock had a terrific day in the pool. The former New Hanover Wildcat shaved seven seconds off her personal best in the 400 IM at the US Olympic Swimming Trials. Full story...
