Charlotte doctors face drug charges
Charlotte police have charged two eye doctors with drug trafficking after investigators said the doctors wrote fake hydrocodone prescriptions for some patients and stole the pills. Police said in a statement that Dr. Benjamin Hobbs and Dr. Samuel Hobbs are each charged with trafficking in opiates, obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and larceny.
